The Pentecost... Zesłanie Ducha Świętego...

 

John 20:19-23

As the Father sent me, so am I sending you: receive the Holy Spirit

In the evening of the first day of the week, the doors were closed in the room where the disciples were, for fear of the Jews. Jesus came and stood among them. He said to them, ‘Peace be with you’, and showed them his hands and his side. The disciples were filled with joy when they saw the Lord, and he said to them again, ‘Peace be with you.

‘As the Father sent me,

so am I sending you.’

After saying this he breathed on them and said:

‘Receive the Holy Spirit.

For those whose sins you forgive,

they are forgiven;

for those whose sins you retain,

they are retained.’

Today, we celebrate the last day of Eastertide – The Pentecost Sunday. When the Holy Spirit came down upon the Apostles, they started proclaiming the Gospel of Jesus Christ. We can say that this day is our day of birth as the members of the Church. 

 

Jesus said, "Receive the Holy Spirit.

For those whose sins you forgive,

they are forgiven;

for those whose sins you retain,

they are retained."

 

To understand why it all happened, we need to look at the today's Gospel. The Third Person of the Holy Trinity is the key to understand the mission of the Holy Spirit who is the Sanctifier, the wisdom and the power of God. The Apostles in the Cenacle were bestowed with sanctity, wisdom and the power of Christ, to help them evangelize people. And 2000 years later the Church still does it. This is the continuation of the Pentecost. 

 

The Holy Spirit is the Sanctifier what means that He is sanctity himself, and everything what comes from Him is sacred. Sacraments exist thanks to Him. Blessing, grace, Eucharist and every sacrament has the power of the Holy Spirit. A priest and any praying person are doing it thanks to the Holy Spirit.

 

The Holy Sprit sanctifies our congregations. This power comes from God. The hands of priests are anointed by the grace of the Holy Spirit.

 

The Holy Spirit is the wisdom of God and leads us to the Church. The Church and its teaching are universal and timeless. We can be sure that the authority of our Church is confirmed trough the Holy Spirit. The dogmas do not change, because they were revealed by God. What we believe in is the wisdom of God. Apart from that, we should remember to pray to the Holy Spirit every time when we have to make a decision. He is always ready to help us. He is working both in our community and when we talk to Him personally.

 

The Holy Spirit is also the power of God which unites the Church. Our community has existed for 2000 years and will exists in the future. Over 1 billion people, on 5 continents, pray to the same God in the Holy Trinity and celebrate the same Mass. The same power can change many hearts and minds of people who convert or come back to God. This is the mystery of many people which can change their lives. Today we sing in the Supplication: "Bend the stubborn heart and will, melt the frozen, warm the chill. Guide the steps that go astray".

Thanks to Him we can find a new quality of life, God's life. 

 

Today's Solemnity reminds us that in everything what have in the Church, and in our spiritual life, there is the sanctity, wisdom and power of God thanks to the Holy Spirit. He is the main "impulse" of the Church and human's life. He is working now and will work until the end of the world.

I would like to end my sermon with one thing. As we know, The Holy Spirit is the Guide of the Church and people. He leads us makes us more prudent. While we are celebrating the Pentecost Solemnity, we need to be aware that we should not disturb Him in his work. Let’s listen to Him, and we will hear what wisdom is hidden in His work. The Holy Spirit always wants to help us. 

 

 Come Holy Spirit. Amen.

 

 

(J 20, 19-23) 
Wieczorem w dniu zmartwychwstania, tam gdzie przebywali uczniowie, choć drzwi były zamknięte z obawy przed Żydami, przyszedł Jezus, stanął pośrodku i rzekł do nich: "Pokój wam!" A to powiedziawszy, pokazał im ręce i bok. Uradowali się zatem uczniowie, ujrzawszy Pana. A Jezus znowu rzekł do nich: "Pokój wam! Jak Ojciec Mnie posłał, tak i Ja was posyłam». Po tych słowach tchnął na nich i powiedział im: "Weźmijcie Ducha Świętego! Którym odpuścicie grzechy, są im odpuszczone, a którym zatrzymacie, są im zatrzymane".

   Dziś obchodzimy ostatni dzień Wielkiej Nocy, Niedzielę Zesłania Ducha Świętego. Od momentu stąpienia Ducha Świętego na Apostołów, zaczęli oni głosić Ewangelię Jezusa Chrystusa. Możemy więc powiedzieć, że dzisiaj są nasze urodziny jako członków Kościoła.

 

Jezus powiedział: „Weźmijcie Ducha Świętego! Którym odpuścicie grzechy, są im odpuszczone, a którym zatrzymacie, są im zatrzymane”.

 

Aby zrozumieć, dlaczego to wszystko się stało, musimy spojrzeć na dzisiejszą Ewangelię dogłębniej. Trzecia Osoba Świętej Trójcy była darem dla Kościoła przez całą posługę Apostołów.

 

To jest klucz do zrozumienia misji Ducha Świętego, który jest Uświęcicielem, mądrością i mocą Boga. Apostołowie w Wieczerniku zostali obdarzeni świętością, mądrością i mocą Chrystusa, aby pomóc w ewangelizowaniu ludzi, kontynuowana przez 2000 Kościoła. 

 

Duch Święty jest Uświęcicielem, co oznacza, że ​​On sam jest świętością, a wszystko, co pochodzi od Niego, jest święte. Sakramenty istnieją dzięki Niemu. Błogosławieństwo, łaska, Eucharystia i każdy sakrament mają moc Ducha Świętego. Kapłan i każdy modlący się czyni to dzięki Duchowi Świętemu.

 

Boża łaska uświęca nasze dary. Ta moc pochodzi od Boga. Ręce kapłanów są namaszczone przez łaskę Ducha Świętego.

 

Duch Święty jest Mądrością Boga i prowadzi nas do Niego. Kościół i jego nauczanie są uniwersalne i ponadczasowe. Możemy być pewni, że autorytet naszego Kościoła jest potwierdzony przez Ducha Świętego. Dogmaty nie zmieniają się, ponieważ zostały objawione przez Boga. Wierzymy w mądrość Boga. Poza tym powinniśmy pamiętać o modlitwie do Ducha Świętego za każdym razem, gdy podejmujemy decyzję. On zawsze jest gotowy nam pomóc. Duch Święty działa zarówno w społeczności, jak i w życiu osobistym.

 

Duch Święty jest także mocą Boga, która jednoczy Kościół. Nasza społeczność istnieje od 2000 lat i będzie istnieć w przyszłości. Ponad 1 miliard ludzi na 5 kontynentach modli się do tego samego Boga w Świętej Trójcy i odprawia tę samą Mszę. Ta moc Bożego daru przemienia wiele serc i umysłów ludzi, którzy nawrócili się lub powracają do Boga. 

 

Dzisiaj śpiewamy w suplikacji: „Nagnij, co jest harde. Rozgrzej serca twarde,

Prowadź zabłąkane.”.

 

To on, dając nową jakość życia, życie Boga.

 

Dzisiejsza uroczystość przypomina nam, że wszystko w Kościele i w naszym życiu duchowym, posiadamy dzięki świętości, mądrości i mocy Boża w Duchu Świętym. On jest głównym „impulsem” Kościoła i życia człowieka.  Jego działanie trwa teraz i będzie trwać do końca świata.

 

Chciałbym zakończyć moje kazanie jedną myślą. Mamy świadomość, że Duch Święty jest Przewodnikiem Kościoła i ludzi. Został nam osobiście dany, aby uczynić nas bardziej rozważnymi ludźmi. 

Podczas obchodów uroczystości Zesłania Ducha Świętego musimy pamiętać, aby nie przeszkadzać Jemu w jego posłudze człowiekowi i Kościołowi. Słuchajmy Go, wierząc, że Mądrość Boża jest ukryta w Duchu Świętym. On zawsze chce naszego dobra.

 

 Przyjdź Duchu Święty. Amen.

 

The Ascension of the Lord... Wniebowstąpienie Pańskie...

 

Matthew 28:16-20

Go and make disciples of all nations

The eleven disciples set out for Galilee, to the mountain where Jesus had arranged to meet them. When they saw him they fell down before him, though some hesitated. Jesus came up and spoke to them. He said, ‘All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me. Go, therefore, make disciples of all the nations; baptise them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teach them to observe all the commands I gave you. And know that I am with you always; yes, to the end of time.’

   From this year in Gibraltar, the Solemnity of the Lord’s Ascension has been moved to Sunday, and this is the main reason why the VII Sunday of Easter gives a place for the Solemnity. 

 

The whole liturgy moves us to Jerusalem, to the time when the Son of God was taken to Heaven. The whole situation has taken place on a mountain, after 40 days since the Resurrection, which has become the time to strength the faith of the believers. 

 

Christ ascended into His Father’s Kingdom to be able to send the promised gift – the Holy Spirit, so that the mission of the Church could have started. After the Ascension and the Pentecost, started a new chapter of Christianity which Jesus indicates in the today’s Gospel. He sent his Apostles and disciples to proclaim the Good News and to find the new disciples in His name. 

 

 

Apart of that, the today’s Solemnity make us aware of two things: Jesus ascending to the God’s Kingdom has elevated the human nature up to eternity. He went back to his Father with His Body and Soul which were glorified by the Death and Resurrection. The whole human existence was sanctified by Christ in His Paschal Mystery. Because of that, we say that we are the temple of the Holy Spirit and our body has its own dignity which demands respect.  

 

This truth remarks that the Resurrection on the Last Day will include our bodies and souls. 

 

If we are aware of it, we need to remind to ourselves where is our definite destination? The answer is: the Kingdom of God. Yes, all our efforts and work should be oriented at Heaven where is our God. It should be our best and greatest desire and purpose. All our work and will shall be oriented at Salvation. 

 

One of the saints, who are the examples for us, St. Martin of Tour, a Roman Soldier and later a bishop, while dying said to his brother priests: turn my body into sky, because I want to fix my eyes at where my Lord is. 

 

Let us pray for ourselves and our families, friends and all who are around us, so that they can deserve Heaven, where Jesus Christ is waiting for His children in faith. Amen. 

 

 

  

(Mt 28, 16-20) 
Jedenastu uczniów udało się do Galilei na górę, tam gdzie Jezus im polecił. A gdy Go ujrzeli, oddali Mu pokłon. Niektórzy jednak wątpili. Wtedy Jezus zbliżył się do nich i przemówił tymi słowami: "Dana Mi jest wszelka władza w niebie i na ziemi. Idźcie więc i nauczajcie wszystkie narody, udzielając im chrztu w imię Ojca i Syna, i Ducha Świętego. Uczcie je zachowywać wszystko, co wam przykazałem. A oto Ja jestem z wami przez wszystkie dni, aż do skończenia świata".

   Od tego roku na Gibraltarze Uroczystość Wniebowstąpienia Pańskiego zostaje przeniesiona na niedzielę i to jest główny powód, dla którego VII Niedziela Wielkanocna ustępuje miejsca tej uroczystości.

 

Cała liturgia przenosi nas do Jerozolimy, kiedy Syn Boży został wzięty do nieba. Cała sytuacja rozegrała się na górze miasta, po 40 dniach od Zmartwychwstania, które stały się czasem umocnienia wiary wierzących.

 

Chrystus wstąpił do Ojca, aby móc zesłać obiecany dar, Ducha Świętego, który mógł zapoczątkować misję Kościoła. Po Wniebowstąpieniu i Zesłaniu Ducha Świętego rozpoczął się nowy rozdział chrześcijaństwa, na który wskazuje Jezus w dzisiejszej Ewangelii. Posłał On swoich Apostołów i uczniów, aby głosili Dobrą Nowinę i pozyskiwali nowych uczniów w Jego imię.

 

 

Poza tym dzisiejsza uroczystość uświadamia nam jeszcze dwie rzeczy, Jezus wstępując do Królestwa Bożego, wyniósł naturę ludzką do wieczności. Wrócił do Ojca z Ciałem i Duszą, które zostały uwielbione przez Śmierć i Zmartwychwstanie. Dlatego mówimy, że nasze ciało, dusza jest uwielbiona przez Boga, ponieważ cała ludzka egzystencja została uświęcona przez Chrystusa w Jego Paschalnej Tajemnicy. Jesteśmy świątynią Ducha Świętego, a nasze ciało ma własną godność, która wymaga szacunku.

 

Ta prawda wskazuje, że Zmartwychwstanie w Dniu Ostatecznym dokona się z ciałem i duszą.

 

Jeśli jesteśmy tego świadomi, musimy sobie przypominać, gdzie jest mój określony cel? Odpowiedź brzmi: Królestwo Boże. Tak, wszystkie nasze wysiłki i prace powinny być skierowane ku Niebu, gdzie jest mój Bóg. To powinno być moim najlepszym i największym pragnieniem i celem. Cała moja praca i wola zostaną powinny być złożone w nadziei Zbawienia.

 

Jeden ze świętych, którzy są dla nas wzorem, św. Marcin z Tour, żołnierze rzymscy, potem biskup, umierając powiedział do swoich braci kapłanów; obróćcie moje ciało ku niebu, bo chcę utkwić mój wzrok tam, gdzie jest mój Pan.

 

 

Módlmy się za nas i naszą rodzinę, przyjaciół i wszystkich wokół nas, abyśmy zasłużyli na Niebo,  gdzie Jezus Chrystus czeka na swoje dzieci. Amen.

Do not be afraid... Nie lękaj się...

 

John 14:15-21

I shall ask the Father and he will give you another Advocate

Jesus said to his disciples:

‘If you love me you will keep my commandments.

I shall ask the Father,

and he will give you another Advocate

to be with you for ever,

that Spirit of truth

whom the world can never receive

since it neither sees nor knows him;

but you know him,

because he is with you, he is in you.

I will not leave you orphans;

I will come back to you.

In a short time the world will no longer see me;

but you will see me,

because I live and you will live.

On that day you will understand that I am in my Father

and you in me and I in you.

Anybody who receives my commandments and keeps them

will be one who loves me;

and anybody who loves me will be loved by my Father,

and I shall love him and show myself to him.’

   During this Sunday of Easter, we read the Gospel of John, chapter 14^th. Jesus, before his passion, declared the promise of the Holy Spirit, as the gift of the Risen Lord. Christ foretold the Holy Spirit in order to start the work of the Church – preaching the Good News. 

 

It’s worth to focus on what Jesus said. “You are not orphans” – it means that we are not alone. Christ wants to remark that he is going to Heaven, but the Apostles and the Church are not left alone. The believers have the assistance of the Holy Spirit. 

 

We do not need to be afraid, because God is with us. The visible presence of Him has lasted for over 2000 years, and the power of God is in the sacraments and teachings. 

 

Christ is trustworthy. Any word of Him is not in vain. He has proved His power many times, especially in the times of crises and uncertainty.

 

Today, while we are experiencing a difficult time for the Church, a lot of confusions, divisions and private opinions about the faith, He says: do not be afraid, I am with you. The same words were appeared on the Inauguration Day of pope John Paul II, when on the 22nd of October 1978 he said: do not be afraid to open the doors of your hearts, the world of culture and economic and politics for Christ. 

 

The words of Christ and the pope are still valid. They mean that we are under the protection of God.

 

But Jesus says that very soon the world will not see Him again. These words warn us about the trap – we should be careful and not to lose God from our sight. Indeed, some people have never seen Jesus, because he revealed himself to those who believed. 

 

Today, some people are in the same situation. They live as if the God did not exist. So often they are baptized, but do not have the real experience of faith. Why? Because the gift of faith and the Providence of God depend on an individual person, who may refuse to believe that God is with us. That kind of life is full of fear and disappointments. So often I hear the voice here, without faith, that somebody’s life does not make sense.

 

Jesus Christ tells us: I am with you until the end of the world. Do not be afraid and look into the future through the spectrum of faith and eternity.  Amen.

(J 14, 15-21) 
Jezus powiedział do swoich uczniów: "Jeżeli Mnie miłujecie, będziecie zachowywać moje przykazania. Ja zaś będę prosił Ojca, a innego Pocieszyciela da wam, aby z wami był na zawsze, Ducha Prawdy, którego świat przyjąć nie może, ponieważ Go nie widzi ani nie zna. Ale wy Go znacie, ponieważ u was przebywa i w was będzie. Nie zostawię was sierotami: Przyjdę do was. Jeszcze chwila, a świat nie będzie już Mnie oglądał. Ale wy Mnie widzicie, ponieważ Ja żyję i wy żyć będziecie. W owym dniu poznacie, że Ja jestem w Ojcu moim, a wy we Mnie i Ja w was. Kto ma przykazania moje i zachowuje je, ten Mnie miłuje. Kto zaś Mnie miłuje, ten będzie umiłowany przez Ojca mego, a również Ja będę go miłował i objawię mu siebie".

   W tą Niedzielę Wielkanocną czytamy Ewangelię Jana, rozdział 14, Jezus przed swoją męką oznajmił o obietnicy Ducha Świętego jako dar Zmartwychwstałego Pana. Chrystus przepowiedział, że ma przyjść Duch Święty, aby rozpocząć dzieło Kościoła, który będzie głosił Dobrą Nowinę.

 

Warto skupić się na myśli Jezusa, mówi, że nie jesteście sierotami, to znaczy, że nie jesteście sami. Tutaj Chrystus chce zaznaczyć, że On idzie do Nieba, ale Apostołowie i Kościół nie są pozostawieni samym sobie, wierzący cały czas mają asystę Ducha Świętego.

 

Jest to nadzieja i pewność, że nie musimy się bać, bo Bóg jest z nami. Jego widzialna obecność to Kościół trwający ponad 2000 lat i moc Boża widoczna w sakramentach i nauczaniu.

 

Chrystus jest Prawdomówny, żadne jego słowo nie idzie na marne, ale wielokrotnie udowadniał Swoją moc pośród ludem, zwłaszcza w czasach kryzysów i niepewności.

 

A dzisiaj, gdy przeżywamy trudny czas dla Kościoła, wiele zamieszania, podziałów, prywatnych opinii na temat wiary, On mówi: nie bójcie się, jestem z wami. Te same słowa padły w dniu Inauguracji Papieża Jana Pawła II, kiedy 22 października 1978 roku Ojciec Święty powiedział: nie lękajcie się otworzyć drzwi waszych serc, świata kultury, gospodarki i polityki dla Chrystusa.

 

Słowa Chrystusa i Papieża są nadal aktualne, by móc zrozumieć, że jesteśmy pod opieką Boga.

 

Ale Jezus mówi jeszcze, że już niedługo świat mnie już nie zobaczy, te słowa ostrzegają nas przed pułapką, aby nie stracić Boga z naszego wzroku. Rzeczywiście, niektórzy ludzie nigdy nie widzieli Jezusa po Jego Zmartwychwstaniu, ponieważ On objawił się tym, którzy uwierzyli.

 

Dzisiaj niektórzy ludzie są w takiej samej sytuacji, żyją tak, jakby Boga nie było.  Często są to ochrzczeni ludzie, ale nie mają prawdziwego doświadczenia wiary. Dlaczego? Ponieważ dar wiary i Opatrzność Boża zależą od pojedynczej osoby, która może odmówić wiary, że Bóg jest z nami. Takie życie jest pełne strachu i rozczarowań. Tak często słyszę głos tutaj, bez wiary, tu na ziemi, moje życie nie ma sensu. 

 

Jezus Chrystus mówi nam; Jestem z wami do końca świata. Nie bójcie się i patrzcie w przyszłość przez pryzmat wiary i wieczności. Amen.

The Way, The Life and the Truth... Droga, Prawda i Życie...

 

John 14:1-12

I am the Way, the Truth and the Life

Jesus said to his disciples:

‘Do not let your hearts be troubled.

Trust in God still, and trust in me.

There are many rooms in my Father’s house;

if there were not, I should have told you.

I am going now to prepare a place for you,

and after I have gone and prepared you a place,

I shall return to take you with me;

so that where I am

you may be too.

You know the way to the place where I am going.’

Thomas said, ‘Lord, we do not know where you are going, so how can we know the way?’ Jesus said:

‘I am the Way, the Truth and the Life.

No one can come to the Father except through me.

If you know me, you know my Father too.

From this moment you know him and have seen him.’

Philip said, ‘Lord, let us see the Father and then we shall be satisfied.’ ‘Have I been with you all this time, Philip,’ said Jesus to him ‘and you still do not know me?

‘To have seen me is to have seen the Father,

so how can you say, “Let us see the Father”?

Do you not believe

that I am in the Father and the Father is in me?

The words I say to you I do not speak as from myself:

it is the Father, living in me, who is doing this work.

You must believe me when I say

that I am in the Father and the Father is in me;

believe it on the evidence of this work, if for no other reason.

I tell you most solemnly,

whoever believes in me

will perform the same works as I do myself,

he will perform even greater works,

because I am going to the Father.’

The Gospel of the 5^th Sunday of Easter introduces us into time when Jesus was aware of his Passion and Death. He wanted to give a hope and strength to them, to those, who might have doubted in his mission. 

 

He said to them; I am going to my Father, do not be afraid, because there are a lot of rooms in my Father’s Kingdom. The Lord knew their mental condition, they were still weak and fragile, and not stable in faith. 

 

Today Christ wants to do the same because we are not so different from the Apostles. Of course, we have our own problems, they had own, but the nature of the lack of stability is the same. We, the people of the XXI century experience the crisis of faith and the certainty of our Christian dignity. 

 

Jesus calls himself, as the Way, the Life, and the Truth. This sentence contains the whole dignity of God. Christ is the Way, it means, he is the only person, who leads to the Father. He said, I and the Father are one, if you want to see the Father, come to him through me. All it means about the sole work of Salvation through Christ. 

 

Jesus is the Life, he gives the real taste of life, his peace and joy is natural, not artificial, if someone lives in him, there is no way to exist without his peace and joy. This is the answer, he is the real giver of life. 

 

Finally, he is the Truth. Today we are looking for answer to many questions, about of how to be happy and successful, and Christ gives the answer, my vision of life makes you free to continue your life in fully. I am the fulfilment of your humanity and of your searching of the sense of life. You are created in the form of me. 

 

 

These things seem to us so obvious, but God wants to remind about it for us, in time, we are so often lost and discouraging. Yes, O Lord, you’re our Way, Life and Truth. Amen. 

 

 

(J 14, 1-12 ) 
Jezus powiedział do swoich uczniów: "Niech się nie trwoży serce wasze. Wierzycie w Boga? I we Mnie wierzcie. W domu Ojca mego jest mieszkań wiele. Gdyby tak nie było, to bym wam powiedział. Idę przecież przygotować wam miejsce. A gdy odejdę i przygotuję wam miejsce, przyjdę powtórnie i zabiorę was do siebie, abyście i wy byli tam, gdzie Ja jestem. Znacie drogę, dokąd Ja idę". Odezwał się do Niego Tomasz: "Panie, nie wiemy, dokąd idziesz. Jak więc możemy znać drogę?" Odpowiedział mu Jezus: "Ja jestem drogą i prawdą, i życiem. Nikt nie przychodzi do Ojca inaczej, jak tylko przeze Mnie. Gdybyście Mnie poznali, znalibyście i mojego Ojca. Ale teraz już Go znacie i zobaczyliście". Rzekł do Niego Filip: "Panie, pokaż nam Ojca, a to nam wystarczy". Odpowiedział mu Jezus: "Filipie, tak długo jestem z wami, a jeszcze Mnie nie poznałeś? Kto Mnie zobaczył, zobaczył także i Ojca. Dlaczego więc mówisz: Pokaż nam Ojca? Czy nie wierzysz, że Ja jestem w Ojcu, a Ojciec we Mnie? Słów tych, które wam mówię, nie wypowiadam od siebie. Ojciec, który trwa we Mnie, On sam dokonuje tych dzieł. Wierzcie Mi, że Ja jestem w Ojcu, a Ojciec we Mnie. Jeżeli zaś nie, wierzcie przynajmniej ze względu na same dzieła. Zaprawdę, zaprawdę powiadam wam: Kto we Mnie wierzy, będzie także dokonywał tych dzieł, których Ja dokonuję, owszem i większe od tych uczyni, bo Ja idę do Ojca".

   Ewangelia V Niedzieli Wielkanocnej wprowadza nas w czas, kiedy Jezus był świadomy swojej męki i śmierci. Chciał dać nadzieję i siłę, tym, którzy mogli wątpić w Jego misję.

 

Powiedział do Apostołów; idę do mojego Ojca, nie bójcie się, bo wiele jest mieszkań w Królestwie mojego Ojca. Pan znał ich stan psychiczny, byli jeszcze słabi, niestali w wierze.

 

Dzisiaj Chrystus chce zrobić to samo, ponieważ nie różnimy się tak bardzo od Apostołów. Oczywiście my mamy własne problemy, oni mieli swoje, ale natura braku stabilności jest taka sama. My, ludzie XXI wieku, przeżywamy kryzys wiary i pewności naszej chrześcijańskiej godności.

 

Jezus nazywa siebie Drogą, Życiem i Prawdą. W tym zdaniu zawarta jest cała godność Boga. Chrystus jest Drogą, to znaczy jedyną osobą, która prowadzi do Ojca; Ja i Ojciec jedno jesteśmy, jeśli chcesz zobaczyć Ojca, przyjdź do Niego przeze mnie. Wszystko to oznacza, że jest jedyne dzieło zbawienia w Chrystusie.

 

Jezus jest Życiem, daje prawdziwy smak życia, Jego pokój i radość jest naturalna, nie sztuczna, jeśli ktoś w Nim żyje, nie ma możliwości istnienia bez Jego pokoju i radości. To jest odpowiedź na nasze wątpliwości, on jest prawdziwym dawcą życia.

 

Wreszcie On jest Prawdą. Dziś szukamy odpowiedzi na wiele pytań, jak być szczęśliwym i odnosić sukcesy, a Chrystus daje odpowiedź, moja wizja życia daje wolność, aby w pełni żyć. Jestem spełnieniem Twojego człowieczeństwa i Twojego poszukiwania sensu życia. Jesteś stworzony na moje podobieństwo.

 

 

Te rzeczy wydają się nam takie oczywiste, ale Bóg chce nam o tym przypominać, z czasem tak często się gubimy i zniechęcamy. Tak, Panie, Ty jesteś naszą Drogą, Życiem i Prawdą. Amen.
