Advent... Adwent...

 

Luke 21:25-28,34-36

That day will be sprung on you suddenly, like a trap

Jesus said to his disciples: ‘There will be signs in the sun and moon and stars; on earth nations in agony, bewildered by the clamour of the ocean and its waves; men dying of fear as they await what menaces the world, for the powers of heaven will be shaken. And then they will see the Son of Man coming in a cloud with power and great glory. When these things begin to take place, stand erect, hold your heads high, because your liberation is near at hand.

  ‘Watch yourselves, or your hearts will be coarsened with debauchery and drunkenness and the cares of life, and that day will be sprung on you suddenly, like a trap. For it will come down on every living man on the face of the earth. Stay awake, praying at all times for the strength to survive all that is going to happen, and to stand with confidence before the Son of Man.’

   Next year and Advent in our life. How many Advent did we have? It seems to us, that each is the same, preparing to Christmas Time. But it is not true, because this time every year is inimitable. God gives us chance for preparing our heart, Jesus Chris will come and depends on us, how do we use it.  

 

This moment is a specific chance for focus on Jesus Christ, for stop and just thinking about own life.

 

Jesus is not typical person, but somebody who is Redeemer and The Lord of the Universe. For him special guest, we shall be prepared. Our heart needs time, so receive so the most important person. 

 

This time of a great grace from God, but the time of struggling. Why? Because the biggest enemy against will be temptation, it is not worthy, discouragement and though, so throw away your motivation and plan for Advent,  which would give me chance to be near of God. This is a battle and fighting with contractures and devil. We will hear many times, it does not make sense.

 

Today's modern culture does not help you, because we live in commercialise world. Many decorates, advertisings about gifts for Christmas many times Advent before. 

 

Of course, this is important in our life, and not the most important. So often people lose. what is core this Feat, Jesus Christ. His coming is the most important, whit out His, Christmas does not make sense.    

Advent and Christmas is not about of Atmosphere and human experience, but about God, who became man. Jesus Christ is the centrum of our celebration. Without him it does mean nothing, even if we have a temporal satisfaction of presents and solemn meal. He is the main guest within my family. He is making this time more familiar. 

 

This is very demanding time, but beautiful before us. Prepare our heart for Jesus Christ, who is love. 

(Łk 21,25-28.34-36) 
Jezus powiedział do swoich uczniów: „Będą znaki na słońcu, księżycu i gwiazdach, a na ziemi trwoga narodów bezradnych wobec szumu morza i jego nawałnicy. Ludzie mdleć będą ze strachu, w oczekiwaniu wydarzeń zagrażających ziemi. Albowiem moce niebios zostaną wstrząśnięte. Wtedy ujrzą Syna Człowieczego, przychodzącego na obłoku z wielką mocą i chwałą. A gdy się to dziać zacznie, nabierzcie ducha i podnieście głowy, ponieważ zbliża się wasze odkupienie. Uważajcie na siebie, aby wasze serca nie były ociężałe wskutek obżarstwa, pijaństwa i trosk doczesnych, żeby ten dzień nie przypadł na was znienacka jak potrzask. Przyjdzie on bowiem na wszystkich, którzy mieszkają na całej ziemi. Czuwajcie więc i módlcie się w każdym czasie, abyście mogli uniknąć tego wszystkiego, co ma nastąpić, i stanąć przed Synem Człowieczym”.

 

 

 

  Rozpoczynamy kolejny rok i Adwent w naszym życiu. Ileż to już Adwentów? Wydaje nam się, że wszyskie są takie same, przygotowując się do Bożego Narodzenia. Ale to nieprawda, bo o tej porze każdy rok jest niepowtarzalny. Bóg daje nam możliwość przygotowania naszego serca, Jezus przychodzi, i od nas zależy, jak  wykorzystamy ten czas. 

Ten moment jest szczególną okazją do skupienia się na Jezusie Chrystusie, zatrzymania się i zastanowienia nad własnym życiem.

Jezus nie jest typową osobą, ale kimś, kto jest Odkupicielem i Panem Wszechświata. Dla Niego specjalnego gościa będziemy przygotowani. Nasze serce potrzebuje czasu, do witania najważniejszą osobę.

Ten czas wielkiej łaski od Boga, ale czas walki. Dlaczego? Ponieważ największym wrogiem jest pokusa, nie warto się wysilać, przyjdzie zniechęcenie, odrzucenie motywacji i planu na Adwent, który dawałby mi możliwość bycia blisko Boga. To walka i to walka z demonami. Usłyszymy to wiele razy, to nie ma sensu.

Dzisiejsza nowoczesna kultura nie pomaga, ponieważ żyjemy w skomercjalizowanym świecie. Dużo dekoracji, zapowiedzi prezentów świątecznych, jako główny punkt przygotowania

Oczywiście to jest ważne w naszym życiu, a nie najważniejsze. Bardzo często ludzie gubią, to co jest sednem tego wysiłku, Jezusa Chrystusa. Jego przyjście jest najważniejsze, jednak Jego przyjście bez mojego zaangażowania nie ma sensu.

Adwent i Boże Narodzenie to nie atmosfera i ludzkie doświadczenie, ale Bóg, który stał się człowiekiem. Jezus Chrystus jest centrum naszej celebracji. Bez Niego, nic nie ma znaczenia, nawet jeśli mamy chwilową satysfakcję z prezentów i uroczystego jedzenia. On Jest głównym gościem mojej rodziny.  On prawiasz, że ta chwila staje się bardziej odświętna i rodzinna.

 

To bardzo wymagająca, ale piękna chwila przed nami. Przygotujmy nasze serca dla Jezusa Chrystusa, który jest miłością. Amen.
