Jesus' authority... Autorytet Jezusa...

 

Mark 1:21-28

Unlike the scribes, he taught them with authority

Jesus and his disciples went as far as Capernaum, and as soon as the sabbath came he went to the synagogue and began to teach. And his teaching made a deep impression on them because, unlike the scribes, he taught them with authority.

  In their synagogue just then there was a man possessed by an unclean spirit and it shouted, ‘What do you want with us, Jesus of Nazareth? Have you come to destroy us? I know who you are: the Holy One of God.’ But Jesus said sharply, ‘Be quiet! Come out of him!’ And the unclean spirit threw the man into convulsions and with a loud cry went out of him. The people were so astonished that they started asking each other what it all meant. ‘Here is a teaching that is new’ they said ‘and with authority behind it: he gives orders even to unclean spirits and they obey him.’ And his reputation rapidly spread everywhere, through all the surrounding Galilean countryside.

   In the today’s Gospel of Mark, we may meet with Jesus in Capernaum, which was a city of Peter at the shore of the Tyre lake. Christ with his Apostles and disciples went to the Synagogue of this city, as usual on a Sabbath day, to read the Lord words and meditate it. 

 

What was happen, while they were all together. The moment was spectacular, because Jesus of his power as the Son of God, cured a man, who was possessed by the unclean spirit. The power has come out of him, to reveal his God’s dignity. 

 

All these people were astonished, because they had never seen all these things, before. The moment and situation in the Synagogue made them aware, because in one moment, the man was cured and freed of evil. Some has come, to show great power of God.  

 

Mark the Evangelist indicates one word, the authority. People in Capernaum saw Christ as person of authority and clarity. In their hearts was a feeling and thought, no one has had this authority and power before, like Christ. Why? Of course, the possibilities to cure the man, were in him, because of the Sonhood of God. But we need to say, his esteem and authority come from his loving heart and pure mind. 

Jesus Christ was transparent, in him, there was no place for compromise, evil and conformism, but in his heart is full of compassion. He is constantly ready to help. 

 

If we notice that Jesus is convincing, and his teaching is the truth, we can understand, that the authority of our faith is God itself. Yes, Christ is the core and the key to the belief. It worthy to reach for this truth, while someone wants to challenge the whole concept of the Christianity, saying, the whole conviction about Jesus is the only a product of a man’s imagination and mind. 

 

No. My relationship to God is real, However I believe in God, I can be sure, that Jesus by himself confirms the truth of the faith.

 

Let us look at Jesus and make our Christian’s life certain and convincing to others, may my life be full of the authority of Jesus Christ. Amen.

W mieście Kafarnaum Jezus w szabat wszedł do synagogi i nauczał. Zdumiewali się Jego nauką; uczył ich bowiem jak ten, który ma władzę, a nie jak uczeni w Piśmie. Był właśnie w synagodze człowiek opętany przez ducha nieczystego. Zaczął on wołać: „Czego chcesz od nas, Jezusie Nazarejczyku? Przyszedłeś nas zgubić. Wiem, kto jesteś: Święty Boży”. Lecz Jezus rozkazał mu surowo: „Milcz i wyjdź z niego”. Wtedy duch nieczysty zaczął go targać i z głośnym krzykiem wyszedł z niego. A wszyscy się zdumieli, tak że jeden drugiego pytał: „Co to jest? Nowa jakaś nauka z mocą. Nawet duchom nieczystym rozkazuje i są mu posłuszne”. I wnet rozeszła się wieść o Nim wszędzie po całej okolicznej krainie galilejskiej.

W dzisiejszej Ewangelii Marka możemy spotkać się z Jezusem w Kafarnaum, gdzie znajdowało się miasto Piotra nad brzegiem jeziora Tyru. Chrystus wraz ze swoimi Apostołami i uczniami udał się do synagogi tego miasta, jak zwykle w dzień szabatu, aby czytać słowa Pana i je rozważać.

 

Co się stało, kiedy wszyscy byli razem. Moment był spektakularny, ponieważ Jezus mocą Syna Bożego uzdrowił człowieka opętanego przez ducha nieczystego. Wyszła z niego moc, aby objawić ludowi swoje Bóstwo.

 

Wszyscy ci ludzie byli zdumieni, ponieważ nigdy wcześniej czegoś takiego nie widzieli. Ta chwila i sytuacja w Synagodze uświadomiła ich o mocy Boga

 

Marek Ewangelista wskazuje na jedno słowo, z perspektywy życia Jezusa, autorytet. Ludzie w Kafarnaum postrzegali Chrystusa jako osobę klarowną. W ich sercach było uczucie, że nikt wcześniej nie miał takiego autorytetu i mocy jak Chrystus. Czemu? Oczywiście, zdolności i możliwości Jezusa były w nim, ze względu na Synostwo Boga. Jednocześnie musimy powiedzieć, że jego szacunek i autorytet pochodzą z Jego kochającego serca i czystego umysłu.

Jezus Chrystus był przejrzysty, nie ma cienia pozoranctwa, nie ma miejsca na kompromis dla zło i konformizmu, ale w jego sercu jest pełne współczucia i gotowe do pomocy.

 

Jeśli zauważymy, że Jezus jest przekonujący, a jego nauka jest prawdą, mamy szansę zrozumieć, że autorytetem naszej wiary jest sam Bóg. Tak, Chrystus jest rdzeniem i kluczem wiary. Warto sięgnąć po tę prawdę, gdy ktoś chce rzucić wyzwanie całej koncepcji chrześcijaństwa, mówiąc, że całe przekonanie na temat Jezusa jest jedynym wytworem ludzkiej wyobraźni i umysłu.

 

Nie. Moja relacja z Bogiem jest prawdziwa, jakkolwiek wierzę w Boga, jest to prawda. Jezus i jego autorytet stają za tą prawdą. Jestem pewien, że rzeczywistość mojej wiary trwa z Jezusem.

 

Spójrzmy na Chrystusa i uczyńmy chrześcijańskie życie pewnym i przekonującym innych, niech moje istnienie będzie pełne autorytetu Jezusa Chrystusa.
